Godington Absinthe
(Jasper) is a 5 y.o. 15.2hh homebred dark bay gelding
by Godington Hannibal out of a Gribaldi
mare. He has tremendous forward-going paces with a brilliant
walk and canter and a big, extravagant trot. Jasper
will make a lovely Dressage or Event ride for junior
or small rider. Good on the road alone or in company,
good to shoe and clip. Very sweet natured and uncomplicated.

Jasper's dam, Godington Abyssinia,
is another of our homebred horses, by the Elite dressage
sire Gribaldi, who is currently competing
with great success at GP level under Holland's Edward
Gal. Abyssinia graded into the Trakehner
Main Studbook as a youngster with excellent marks (including
a 9 for Type) and was a class winner last time out at
the Breed Show. Jasper has inherited great althleticism
and beauty from both of his parents and is sure to fulfill
his potential in either Dressage or Eventing.
UPDATE
- having enjoyed bringing Jasper on over the winter
and early spring of 2008, we've been so impressed with
his potential that we have decided to retain him as
an Eventing prospect and he will be running at Pre-Novice
this year. Consequently we are not actively offering
him for sale, but interested parties are still welcome
to contact us
